To the Chosen One,The building blocks of the Virtuous Woman

Who could ever find a wife like this one — she is a woman of strength and mighty valor! She’s full of wealth and wisdom. The price paid for her was greater than many jewels. Prov. 31:10 TPT

Many are those who see this proverb as an unattainable stature for a woman, others see it as an idealistic view of a wife however God brings this proverb to women and to His church as a gift. As one of the acrostic passages found in Scriptures, “The Virtuous Woman” in Proverbs 31:10-31 passage brings from God himself the seals needed to reach the level of power intended for a woman at levels beyond earth and beyond this creation. You were formed, you were built and designed by God to have all these attributes as part of your being. The mystery of the Aleph Beit[1] used in all acrostic[2] passages is brought to us in the light of His Word. Prov. 31:10 is headed by the letter Aleph, the first letter of the Hebrew Alphabet, and subsequentially each verse until verse 31 is headed by the next letter in the Hebrew Alphabet until all 22 letters are used. Some have said that this was used to ease the memorization of each verse of this poem and that no value was obtained from translating the use of the Aleph Beit in the printed English version of the scripture. However, when we look at the Hebrew Alphabet, we find that it is unlike any other alphabet in the written languages. Each of the letters carries with it a meaning given by God, a numerical value that finds a meaning in numerology, a graphic design meaning brought by its graphic composition. As we study each of the letters, we realize the power contained in each of the words and actions of God. In Genesis 1:1 we see the following בְּרֵאשִׁית בָּרָא אֱלֹהִים אֵת הַשָּׁמַיִם וְאֵת הָאָרֶץ, In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth KJV.

Now let's look at the verse even more closely through the eyes of the ancient sages. After Bere’shiyt bara ’Elohiym there is a fourth untranslatable word. That fourth word is actually two Hebrew letters: the Aleph and the Tav. The aleph-tav (את) does serve a grammatical purpose in that it points to the direct object of the sentence. These two letters do not actually form a word, but rather they express an understanding. The aleph (א) is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet, and the tav (ת) is the last letter of the alphabet. The placement of these two very significant letters at strategic locations within many sentences of the Hebrew Scriptures express a total completeness. It is equivalent to saying, "from alpha to omega, from a to z, from first to last, from beginning to end." So, from the Hebraic point of view, they see that "In the beginning ’Elohiym created the aleph-tav. In other words, they believe that the very first thing ’Elohiym created was the Hebrew alphabet, which is known through ancient writings also as the aleph-tav. They recognize that He created the letters by which all life and all physical things spring forth from. They are divinely ordained building blocks of life. They believed that ’Elohiym had to create this first because it is all the letters of the Hebrew alephbet that form the Torah, the word of YHVH, which, according to the word of YHVH, is YHVH Himself. Now you can better understand the reverence they have for the alphabet because they are the letters of the Torah - which is YHVH. We understand the same from Yochanan (John) 1:1, "In the beginning was the WORD and the WORD was with God and the WORD was GOD." If any Jewish sage would read that verse, they would give it a hearty amen. He would say, "In the beginning was the WORD, the alephbet, the WORD was with God, and God was the WORD." YHVH is the Alephbet and is revered for the same reason.

In English we can understand Bere’shiyt 1:1 as "In the beginning God created A to Z." Our own expression that parallels this one is, "He finished everything from A to Z, or from beginning to end." This is also the reason for several of Yeshua ‘s titles: the "Author and Finisher of our faith;" He is the Aleph Tav, the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and End, and the First and Last.[1]

Understanding this now we can read each of the acrostic passages and specifically for our Proverbs 31 study, as God giving us in each verse a building block needed for us to become this virtuous woman, not anymore as something that we will accomplish out of human effort and sacrifice but rather as an openness to God and His work in us. We read in

Ephesians 4: 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors, and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

We the church, us as women of God, were given these gifts, these ministries to bring to the church and to us, the edification to come to the unity of faith and TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE SON OF GOD, this “knowledge”, is the Greek word “epignosis”

G1922 ἐπίγνωσις epígnōsis, ep-ig'-no-sis; from G1921; recognition, i.e. (by implication) full discernment, acknowledgement:—(ac-)knowledge(-ing, - ment). [1]

Full discernment, full knowledge, unto a perfect man, full discernment brings you unto a perfect man status. If He is the Aleph Tav, the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and End, and the First and Last, as I endeavor onto His knowledge step by step, I will obtain the building blocks that will bring me unto the His Stature therefore the stature of the Virtuous Woman.

Hebrews 12:1-2 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Looking onto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. It is by faith that we will grow and be this wonderful and radiant woman that He created us to be.

Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for it, 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the Word, 27 that He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish.

He gave himself for it, he, the alpha, and omega, gave his fullness for His church to wash her of water by the WORD, by the fullness of His building blocks. What a glorious God we serve and love, that he offers himself so that we may achieve perfection in Him and through him. I invite you to join me in this journey unto the Aleph Beit for the edification of the body of Christ.

God bless you
